I get asked all the time where I get my hair and tan done, where I go for my facials, and what my favorite providers are in Indy. So, for all my locals out there (or if you’re ever in town) here are all my favorite services in Indy. I know how hard it can be to find a doctor, hair styling or personal trainer that you love, so whether you’re new in town or are looking to change things up, I hope this helps the next time you’re trying to find your go-to. These are all my top recommendations- I hope you love them as much as I do!
Breaking down my thoughts on the Oura Ring, its appearance as well as its sleep, period, and activity tracking!
Since I’ve been doing a bit of traveling lately, and have a couple more upcoming trips this year, I wanted to share my travel essentials with you guys. I know a lot of you are planning some getaways and it’s a popular time of year for travel, so here are my tips and tricks for making TSA and your time in the sky a breeze…
Let’s talk about SUPPS baby! This is something I often get asked about so I wanted to share all in one place! I’ve been seeing a functional medicine doctor for the past 2 years and there are a few supplements that she has recommended to me for some specific issues that she’s found based off my blood work… I won’t get into all of that, but these are more general supplements that I think everyone could benefit from. I of course want to give the disclaimer that I am not a doctor (if you didn’t already know that lol) and you should always consult with your doctor before trying out new supplements, medicines, vitamins, etc. View this more as a thought starter and less of a guide book. Maybe after reading this blog post you might decide to try out a multivitamin or a probiotic but this is not me telling you that these are the exact things you need to do. Hope that makes sense! Nothing is one size fits all, but I do think that in general, most of us don’t get everything we need from our Standard American Diet and my personal belief is that the right supplements can help to fill in those gaps while still striving for a *healthy* diet. Last thing I wanted to note is that I have worked with SOME of these brands in the past and a couple I’m currently working with. Opinions are always my own and no one is paying me to say anything here. The reason I’m including these brands in this list is because I truly use them and love them! Okay lets get into it….
As I mentioned on my IG, Cort and I recently did a 4 week “elimination diet” to test for any food sensitivities. This was something my doctor strongly recommended after I developed multiple skin rashes and some GI issues. I wasn't thrilled with the idea because, well, I hate diets and don’t like doing anything extreme or restrictive.

Cort and I had a great trip back to Asheville this year! After visiting in the summer of 2020, we knew we wanted to go back and experience fall in the mountains. I’m not sure that I can overstate how incredible it was seeing Stowe, Vermont in the fall! Visiting Stowe during peak leaf foliage season had been a bucket list trip for me for years, but never seemed to work out. With our house originally scheduled to be finished in mid-October, we didn’t have this trip (or any trips) planned as we prepared to move in. After hearing from our builder of completion getting delayed into December, we both decided that traveling in the fall would help ease the pain a bit! So we booked a VERY last second trip to Stowe and are so happy that we did! It was truly the most breathtaking foliage and fall experience I have ever seen, so I hope you get a chance to check it out one of these years too! If so, here’s a recap about our trip to help you plan your future fall getaway to Stowe, Vermont!
